Alicante sits on the Mediterranean coast two hours south of Valencia. It is a small city with a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of activities to enjoy, day or night.
Officially the sunniest city in Europe it offers the perfect location to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.
Right next to the centre of Alicante is Playa del Postiguet so you can enjoy shopping or eating at the local restaurants and still be just minutes from soaking in the sun and listening to the sound of the waves.

Activities
Castillo de Santa Bárbara is a must for anyone visiting Alicante. You can get the lift up but we recommend a slow walk up to the top
San Juan Beach is only 15 minutes by tram from the centre of Alicante and offers miles of sand to explore
City walks will allow you to explore all parts of Alicante. The tourist board give you some pre-prepared routes to choose from
